Post in a drawthread.
>Why can I be consistent:
There are lots of barriers to consistency I will name a few:
>poor diet
>poor sleep
know your circadian rhythm
>using technology early in the morning
Wait 1-4 hours do literally anything else don't touch a motherfucking device I will find where you live.
>poor emotional awarenes and regulation
if you have negative emotions that you're avoiding or suppressing they will keep you up at night and distract you during the day.
>not moving enough
Read "the body keeps the score" if you want to know more.
You want tranquil mental. Diet contributes to this. Negative emotion will be:
>omg this is subar trash
angry at yourself,
>omg NSFW gooning
ashamed
>omg I can't sleep no one has ever been proud of me so I don't know how to be proud of myself and need to ask strangers to tell me if I did good job because I sure as shit can't pay myself on the back
Speaks for itself.
Cut yourself some slack. What's wrong with making subpar trash?
>I don't want to make subpar trash I want to make good trash
You make a good drawing by making a shit drawing and then you improve it. You write a good book by writing a shit book that you edit into a good book. You PYW to artwork critique when you don't know what to edit.
>20 hours of making subpar trash
Where did you learn to beat yourself up for making progress?
More barriers to consistency:
>lack of an apparatus to manipulate semantic information
You can just call it a "method" I'm not sure how to elaborate on this right now.
>lack of ability to define problems
You can't fix a booboo if you don't know where the booboo is. For many people who are stuck you'll notice a lack of specificity when they share their problems.
>wrong workflow
You need a strategy that suits you to get work done.
For some this is "I just need to start." Sometimes it's "I need a routine window of time." Sometimes it's "I need 4-7 different things to rotate between or else I get bored."
