Also conversation between Arakawa, Inoue, and Takatera
>Arakawa: Inoue-san, what did you think of "Kuuga"?
>Inoue: I liked Yusuke, no matter what. He had a calm and collected attitude, and it was good that he was able to do something that had never been done before.
>Arakawa: Do you have a favorite episode?
>Inoue: The Chono story, the "Don't look back" one, and the piano one.
>Arakawa: What did you think of Takatera-san?
>Inoue: I thought he was trying his best, but the way he tried his best was insensitive (laughs).
>Takatera: I'm sorry
>Inoue: You were doing it for yourself rather than for the work.
>Takatera: No, personally I thought I was doing it with the company in mind.
>Inoue: You're lying! The most important thing for you was whether you were satisfied with it or not. But that's okay. I'm enjoying my work the most at this age and I'm working the hardest, but I'm criticizing myself more and more. I'm worse than Takatera when he was working on “Kuuga” (laughs). But that's what makes the works better.
>Arakawa: Now that you mention it, I think I was mainly thinking about how entertaining it would be for me back then. I was thinking about how I could incorporate my own personality into a hero series like "Kamen Rider," and it was really fun to be able to do that.
>Inoue: Isn't that right? That's how you create works. I was never worried about you when it came to "Kuuga." I could see that you were trying to do something new in your own way. So when Suzuki asked me to write "Kuuga," I thought I should leave that part unchanged. I thought it would be a pain, but I wanted to prevent someone who didn't know you from coming in and changing the world of "Kuuga." That's how kind I am (laughs).
>Arakawa: That was a great quote (laughs).
