My point is I can understand if somebody married to their soulmate is too heartbroken to ever remarry after their partner dies. In the case of widows I can also understand if being a widow makes dating harder because men don't want to be constantly competing with a ghost and measured up against her dead husband. Things like car crashes, medical conditions and freak accidents still kill young people.
