That post-TS is actually better than pre. There's something very comfy about pre-TS but when I go back and re-read it, it feels all so basic and you can tell Oda is still finding his feet with writing. Also loads of the developments, lore, worldbuilding etc is post-TS and pre-TS feels lacking without it.
