They're not growing. They're pretending inflation / currency debasement is economic growth because it causes people to have to spend more money to achieve the same result or even a poorer result.

All capitalist countries print fiat currency or create fictional yet spendable fiat currency continuously, as they go along. They do this because otherwise, business and corporation financial profits would be mathematically impossible and also to compensate for the amount of money parked out of circulation as savings by private individuals and businesses.
