Some of the surviving cyborgs created or fell into religious cults, some found purpose integrating into some other culture, some became mercenaries and criminals.
The default cyborg form and mental level is comparable to human. It has been remarked on in universe the oddity of how closely they resemble humans, but nothing has come of it. Some forms of cyborgs are stranger and have levels of intelligence different than human. Some of the lower intelligence cyborgs have survived as essentially animals, cryptids, or even being taken in as livestock or pets.
