I really don't understand this meme about Ashkenazi Jews being Polish. Yes, they lived in Poland for many years, that's true, but it's clear they're not Slavic, at least not to the extent that Poles are. If you put a Pole next to an Ashkenazi, their ethnic differences are obvious. Besides, since when are Slavs "white"? What does it mean to be white anyway? It's stupid and reductionist.

The term "white" is meant to equate and deny the ethnic and cultural differences between a Germanic Icelander and a Slav from distant Russia and a light-skinned Italian or Spaniard and a random ashkenazi from Tel Aviv. It's ridiculous.
