The iron sights have huge inconvenient blind spots. Extending the ladder sight was probably a balance decision but it feels completely arbitrary like on the PPD-29. That said, no cool down on a 250 belt DP feels very good and you can aim from the driver seat if your squad is still alive.
I have also stalled trying to climb hills with it which just means you die immediately trying to flank, so hopefully that changes with whatever bug fix they do
