I'm not talking curly hair as in having an afro obviously, but if you think the guy on the left is a more common sight than the guy on the right in Italy when it comes to hair texture you are beyond delusional. Curly hair have always been a med trait, you can see them on greek and roman statues too, hair that are very straight are more of a northern european trait and they are rarer in Italy
