Cambodia started this conflict. Thailand is a very friendly and open country, but they have a larger population, more advanced economy and a bigger military. Thailand has a duty to protect itself. I trust Thailand to continue until they feel secure and safe from the Cambodian aggressors. The real question is why is Cambodia doing this? It's seems like they are attempting to get China involved in a conflict where Cambodia could receive financial and material support. Alas, I am not an expert.
