It's materialistic hedonism.
It's people who think life is about soaking up as much assets, pleasure, and degeneracy as possible.
Clearly this life is a test of our moral character and a chance to refine the essence of our soul.

We're living in a sin simulator.
I believe that there was a rebellion in heaven. Some people like to dismantle the idea immediately because a rebellion shouldn't even be possible if God is truly "all-powerful". However I like to think there's a rhyme or rhythm to this perpetual good vs. evil saga that transcends our mortal understanding. For the sake of continuing my steam of thought, we will go with the essence of the written Biblical statement: there was a rebellion in heaven.
The way I understand it, Lucifer wanted some glory for himself. Lucifer's downfall was already scripted, but the "Free Will" of the Humans was actually unscripted, and Lucifer saw the opportunity to challenge God over the hearts & minds of men.
We're told in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that Satan is the "god of this world" which makes sense because its a doomed material world.
You are experiencing an individually crafted series of tests meant to reveal the content of your character and refine the essence of your soul.

Power and wealth are pathways for a mind control parasite called Mammon, which is Satan’s brain-tool.
Wealthy elite are not human.
