I'm not so sure. Just based on the reactions of the populations, this seems like cope.
I see Israelis running to bunkers, terrified and locking the doors because they are afraid of over-crowding.
Meanwhile I see Iranians having adhoc motorcades, flying their flags, and celebrating in the streets.
It seems one of us is coping and the other is just looking at the media coming out of this conflict and describing what they see.
