If I was there, I would've loved to have intervened. A chance to knock around a few arrogant foreigners sounds great.

However, I would've been arrested for assaulting the foreigners and ended up wasting hours of my own life defending myself against a judicial system that hates me and favours the foreigners. So how exactly do these agents of the same flawed system expect people like me to rush to their aid, when they're more likely to penalise me than their attackers?
