It's a fun episodic sci-fi\adventure\romcom called Time Jam: Valerian & Laureline (the girl is Laureline).
It has an overarching plot that starts out decent but ends up being a nothing burger until about the 2 last episodes where it goes for the least satisfying conclusion possible.
But the episodic stuff is surprisingly good.
