It's more that Hasu's main platform is a game that isn't constricted to an anime with a limited runtime. The Nijis in AS felt a lot more fleshed out than their anime counterparts too because they had hours of bond episodes as a supplement. Not having a large global audience has nothing do with it because people would complain about SIF and AS cards every other month. The same people crying about Emma are also crying about the Ai card in the same way they complained about both SIF dancer sets years ago.
