Reconciliation is unnecessary. Acceptance of all the evidence of evolution and understanding that a purely materialist mind would conclude life on earth is due to abiogenesis is not mutually exclusive with having faith that God created the material universe 6000 years ago complete with all the fossils as well as red shift and other evidence of the "big bang".
