At my new job at a downtown gas station, I'll clarify that in my country there are still employees to whom you tell the amount of gas and your payment method, and while you're filling up the tank, you tip them for cleaning your windshield and also for calibrating your tires.
I remember my training had ended and there was a day when no one wanted fuel, and I was assigned a position. Passenger trucks are always passing by there, people get off and walk, and cars are taking shortcuts to the gas station due to traffic.
With no one to help, my coworkers talking amongst themselves, I just stand there, lost in my thoughts, while I blend into the crowd.
Right now, I'm in this pose *image attached to the post*, the uniform is too loose and the cap makes me invisible to many eyes.
