Given the similarities between Colonial-era Australia and the Western genre, could a "Weird OZ" type setting, where Weird Western tropes are ported to the Australia setting, work? What about the idea of adding "Australia elements" to a fantasy world, ala how Spellslinger achieves Weird Western status by adding classic Western tropes to a standard D&D world?
