My dream Nikke game is a cross between Gears of War/Vanquish gameplay and Republic Commando squad management.
Make a squad of 3 that you can swap between on the fly during missions with a handful of reps for each weapon type, with bonuses (and lots of combat banter) for fielding certain combinations of characters.
Killing enemies and collecting pickups fills the squad's Full Burst meter which can be activated to grant each character unique gameplay bonuses or effects when they're the active player character, and special tactical commands when they're not.
Additional characters would be unlockable or made available as squad DLC (i.e. Triangle pack, Cafe Sweety pack, etc.).

If you could add one more weapon type to the current list, what would it be? I can only think of something like pistols, which would be pretty lame. Or weird rapture/fantasy tech but that's already covered under many of the existing types.
