Given that both sides tittered and squeaked like overexcited children over how badly the other side was gonna get it once " the files are released " seems pretty convincing to me that it's a paper tiger. If there were anything damning to only one side, it would have been used immediately. If there were anything damning to both sides, neither of them would have so eagerly and gleefully bragged about it. I won't tell any other actual human what to believe cause (guess what, shocker) nobody here actually has all the facts, but the overwhelmingly obvious conclusion to me it was an empty threat made by people who never had anything substantial in their hand hoping the other side didn't know that, like every other much-threatened october surprise long since past.
