I don't think they're using the TP design because it looks like Hunter, but that they keep suggesting Hunter because the TP design is the one they're used to from Smash. Westerners LOVE TP Zelda for some reason despite even the most recent Smash switching to a design that better fits almost every other iteration of the character. A significant amount of people are in for a rude awakening when the Legend of Zelda movie doesn't match their particular taste in Legend of Zelda games.
