Today, I decided to do something I'd never have thought it'd come to just last year during the presidential election: I threw my MAGA cap away. Threw it right into the dumpster at my workplace. Threw it in there sans any hesitation or regrets.

You see, /ptg/, I couldn't stand the ignominy that comes from wearing that thing outside any longer. The awkward stares, the double takes, the widening eyes, the parents of small children trying to distract them so they wouldn't see... and that was the easy part. Then there were the proud feminists and strong minorities acrimoniously demanding explanations for my support of Donald Trump, and try as I might, I just couldn't come up with a defense of all of his massive blunders. The racism. Ukraine, Epstein, the tariffs, his tanking poll numbers, you name it.

After my neighbors Lance and Sarah informed me they couldn't support him anymore and were now for impeachment and imprisonment, that was the final straw. The pathos coming from people I cared about made me realize what a monster we have in the White House. That good men cannot stand idly by.

Who else here agrees 2028 can't come soon enough?
