i'm aware antlions aren't ants, should've clarified. But that's really cool, in some ways ants are very adv-ants-ed lol, they have continent-spanning supercolonies and all.
Maybe to mirror Kris, even if Tenna doesn't swap with Kris's role directly, he'd be an antlion monster adopted by straight-up ant monsters and be insecure about it, feeling like he's "lion" about being an "ant." Maybe he has plant monster powers too, so he's actually Plantlion. Sorry, it's hard to stop making puns...I just like interpreting the artificial Darkners into more natural monsters and vice versa (though that one can be harder...I'm currently thinking about what would make the Holidays a "family" as Darkners besides being imagined as one. Made from the same material? All Christmas items?)
