Jesus referred to those who opposed his message as the Synagogue of Satan.
Yet all of his companions were Jews and his primary message was to them.
You don't think Jesus has abandoned the Jews?
The reason why the Jews are in Israel is that in the future things will be bad. And at a certain point the Jews will cry out for their Messiah.
Jesus says - You will not see me again until you say "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord".
And that is when Jesus returns. When the Jews ask for their Messiah.
