I am trying not to be as bitter of a person and not looking for the worst in people (my therapist has been working on that shit for years), but it is hard not to immediately react with disdain/disgust at her behavior. Peter's reaction is fucking gold and one of the most realistic reactions to this degree of selfish behavior.

I got ghosted for fucking months only for her to call and tell me about a new boo and wanting to still be friends and an one glorious instance everything washed away. I was DONE, and I just ended the cycle there. Peter could not be more done, and rather than engage in any capacity he just walks away. He probably knew engaging would just end up with her feeling better and him feeling worse, and he just couldn't do it anymore. Poor fucking dude. Silver lining he finally respected himself, and that's the first step towards growth.
