KGB """telegram""" channels are starting to talk about the next war. That they (i.e. their state, which really means politburo) must not repeat the same mistakes they made in Ukraine. That this new war must be quick.
Reminder that in commie times soldiers stationed near the conquered states or those in what is now called "sphere of influence" were prepared to quickly capture "material wealth" (not limited to just wealth, also means resources, factories, technologies etc.) of the "probable enemies" and to massacre civilians. This is what they were hoping to achieve here. This is what they want in what they hope to be the next war.
I doubt they have the resources aside from the meat but eventually they will. So plan accordingly. It sucks going scorched earth on your own land but if they only can take a barren wasteland they can't use it in any way. The more they ruin the more reparations they will have to pay. The land will eventually heal, evacuated factories and such can be returned, destroyed buildings and roads can be rebuilt. And they will pay for all of it.
