I think otherwise so it is a fact that men should be affectionate. The only qualification for that is that I think affectionate men are good. It doesn't work the other way around, you can't change the fact some people think it's good for men to be affectionate. So the statement is already wrong. A better question is: is it better for men to not be affectionate. In order for me to answer that I have to know how are you measuring better and worse? Through utility to people's lives? Through your personal preferences?
