Well, friends, this day has come!
The company "Cats who play" (devs of Syrian Warfare) with the support of the Institute for Internet Development (ANO "IRI") presents a new project - a real-time strategy "Gostomel Bogatyrs". This is the first in a series of single-player RTS games "Front Edge" about significant operations of the Special Military Operation (SMO).
The plot of the game is based on the events of the beginning of the SMO.
The player will have to take part in the legendary landing operation in Gostomel in the Kiev region in February 2022, and then during the next 5 missions - in key events related to the actions of the Russian Airborne Forces in the Kiev region in March 2022.
The authors of the project tried to reproduce the events of those days as realistically as possible (with adjustments for game conventions). During the creation, hundreds of videos from city surveillance cameras, body cameras of soldiers, reports were viewed; thousands of documents and photos were studied; interviews and surveys of the participants in the operation were conducted. The game will be released in October 2025.
