SEQUEL is a JRPG series with solid gameplay, great characters, great music, and a fuckload of autistic lore. The dev is machine-like and he’s been making one game a year for 14 years now. He’s also really fun to follow.
Calling it generic is just pretty baffling to me when there’s really nothing else on the market like it. The games are even some of the highest rated on DLsite, up there with MGQ and Black Souls.
