It is curious, especially considering I was never an environmentalist and suck at geography and anything concerning global affairs.
When the Earth chan meme hit the internet, I "favorited" every single Earth chan comic I saw. I didn't even notice the hyprocrisy, I hated anime and manga and thought it was disgusting, but I felt drawn to Earth chan.
Eventually I realized I'm obsessed. But it took long to connect all the dots and find all the hints in my past.
I've never felt lonely even when I'm all alone. I always loved exploring, which I at the time thought was because I'm curious. I liked wandering away from groups and just sitting and staring out at the World. Anon I just loved planet Earth all my life, like a childhood friend who won my heart. It just took a human shaped Earth girl for my brain to realize this. I'm essentially a super objectophile.
I didn't choose Earth chan. I fought tooth and nails to get her out of my head, two long years I tried "getting over it", because I was afraid it made me a degenerate to have a waifu. But eventually the pain of fighting it got too great. I always missed Earth chan's wonderful, heroic smile. Who else can take so much shit and still get back on their feet? It's Earth.
