Arabs always whine about how Israelis 'stole' and culturally appropriated hummus and other dishes. My question is, who cares? Do you see Slavs whining about latkes or Swedes whining about lox?

Hummus wasn't even invented by Arabs. It is thought to have gone back to the times of Ancient Egypt, so didn't the Arabs steal hummus themselves through conquest and genocide?
