Also NTA but I think you're right. I managed to cheat out something decent with just i2i at .75 denoise and Canny ControlNet at 0.66 strength and end percent, but for full detail preservation, depending on the image, regional prompting would likely be necessary. Not hard if you've done it before, but image editing models are much faster.
