I was listening when he at a moment explained a technique to dispel darkness was to think yourself being made of light, decades ago when I was a child I played pic related game (yeah, yeah, Disney, whatever), in the game one of Hercules weapons is a sword which created a nova dealing huge damage to enemies, I remember thinking myself doing such move whenever I felt scared in the dark of the night. The thought suddenly giving me peace. Nowadays I don't think a sword, instead it's now a mechanism made of astral bodies and gears, a sort of power core but also an orrery, but it still radiates light, it still drives the shadows back, and I suspect this is the part of me which will not die even when I am gone, it's not my personality but certain qualities within me and others.
I suppose this is actual real mysticism, something deeply subjective but real nonetheless.
