Fingy can't go because his dad needs him to go and drive and buy him drugs and stuff. His family needs him and I need him for emotional and spiritual support/camaraderie.

As far as I understand Betty's family and community would actually be better off without her she is sort of a leech and is objectionable in other respects too. Tree though is cherished and loved and if Betty's gotta get clipped to make him happy maybe that's what God intended all along
