Run to the ledge and stop. This will spawn the cheetah and the guy below. Jump and let the cheetah pass under you, and it will fall into the pit. Then wait half a second for the guy to reach his ledge and turn in the other direction. When you jump over, you can either slice the bird before you fall, or drop short of it and turn around to slice it on the rebound. Keep practicing!
