i've never bought into this idea that the siblings are millions or billions of years old. especially now that we know they were basically in stasis in hibernation pods on their ship as they traveled through space. they are almost certainly long-lived but i have a feeling they are a lot younger than the prevailing theories the community has regarding their age.

yes in the case of the abyss twin but also maybe technically no in the case of the traveler, i have a feeling that the traveler specifically was plucked out of time by istaroth and sent 500 years into the future after they get cubed during the opening cutscene. it would explain why the abyss sibling was unable to find us in the 500 years after the cataclysm despite them being willing to abandon khaenri'ah to total devastation just to reunite with us.
