Most of it can be summed up as "owning" being poor, most people just try to get by with the bare minimum but they have consumerist hobbies like building/restoring vehicles or in-group inclinations such as not snitching on those who don't fuck over others. A lot of people are schizoids or halfway there from drug abuse, alcohol abuse or from genetic disposition. Women here are desperate 1-uppers that move from dude-to-dude, riding the cock carousel until forced onto welfare to pay for kids, always hoping to land a lower middle class guy so they can "settle". The only decent women here are those who already grew up middle class and didn't live up the backroads party life of getting fucked in a cemetery, the ones that just tried to get through school to break even. Might find some of those in church but more likely they're in the local college library, since churches here are treated like rehab centers for skanks and junkie dudes. Other that all that, not sure what to tell you... Cost of living is relatively lower here but only because most fuckers are dirt poor, maybe making $30k/year at whatever random labor job they fell into.
