There's actually no way Toby will write most of the cast living but Ralsei dying now that he's already established Ralsei as self-loathing and happy to die for Kris & Susie.
For one thing it's absolutely impossible for Susie to have any kind of good ending if Ralsei dies.
Honestly the whole trio's lives are, narratively & emotionally speaking, a package deal.
