I have (non-erotically)rp'd since my early teens. I think it's just a different culture. Imagine singing in public and how awkward that would be but going to a karaoke club/event is entirely different.

>(is this true?)
Not for me but I tend to not focus my irl gender (which removes people just looking to sext) and write specific prompts that filter out uninterested folks. That said I don't post often since there ARE a lot of male posters and it's nice to be able to pre-filter based on their writing style/kinks.

>So how do you start?
Writing a post is dependent on where and what you are looking for.

When responding to a post I try to give a lot of info right away: A quick hello, where you saw their post and then why you replied to them. I try to give feedback, not just a "I like your prompt and want to play it" but "Here is ideas I had that expand on your post." I tend to find that gets the best responses.

I don't like folks that go straight into the rp'ing. I prefer chatting things out ooc first to figure out boundaries etc.

If you enjoy AI that's cool and I am sure it has it's benefits. You don't have wait times or worry about whether or not the other person will be into your exact kinks.

I enjoy playing with people who bring their own ideas, that back and forth is great. I also haven't ever found an AI that can adequately play characters. They rarely stay IN character. I used to try playing lesbian scenes (since fxf is hard to find) only to end up getting consistently cucked because, I guess, the AI is overly trained on male players.

If you ARE interested in erping maybe just try it out. Make an account on reddit or flist, lurk a bit and read people's profiles. See what the community is like. I'm not sure if 4chan is a great place to look for female players when you are just starting out.
