I'm particularly interested in the Mesolithic period, but also in prehistory generally. What fascinates me is how the Americas were people by descendants of the Ancient North Eurasians, from whom we also draw some ancestry, at least 14,000 years ago and perhaps as far back as 20,000 BC, yet their societies ultimately developed in remarkably similar ways. It makes one wonder just how advanced some ancient cultures may have become.
