I don't know how it works, but numerology is similar to astrology in that if you calculate your numbers you get a similar personality profile as your zodiac, at least for me. So somehow numerology and astrology hold "spiritual energy/power", or they have certain properties and characteristics that affect our collective behaviours.

By doing these rituals using numerology/gematria and astrology, they appear to be creating an encoded interconnected ritual web of events working in their favour to achieve their goals.
