>Not like you could Youtube it back then
>Manage to get hands on a demo of Descent 2
>Can't fit intro FMV or voiceacting in the small demo so they just have still photos of the intro with text
>Story was somewhat comical and silly
>Like comical games
>One day find a copy on sale
>Buy it
>Actual story is serious and gritty
>They just completely made up their own dialog for the intro in the demo
Why would any company intentionally misrepresent what the game is like in a demo, something designed to show off the game to get you to buy it?
