It has always bugged me how in the show so much of her plotline is either wasted screen time or just makes no sense whatsoever. The whole thing about her sneaking into the garrison makes no sense since plenty of people there would have already known her through her family and we're supposed to believe that no one ever thought to look for her there after she went missing? And then when they bump into Keith and Shiro they again act like they're strangers to Pidge even though they both should have seen through her disguise in an instant due to them being regulars at the Holt family for dinner. And then after all of that they completely drop the whole "undercover as a boy" plot line in an instant just to never pick it up or even reference it ever again so really, why even bother with that plot line at all when Pidge simply could have been a regular student there that was just being watched like a hawk due to her prior infractions?
