Riichi mahjong is a very unbalanced game.
Value for hans should be reduced all across the board and mangan+ han breakpoints shouldn't exist.
Scoring would become way harder, but defense would start to really matter a lot more, while also forcing people to kan in order to actually gamble for value.
They should also add more cope yakus similar to chanta and kokushi that turn shitty hands into valuable or fast ones as well.
Dealer turns also shouldn't exist.
