I almost gave up on one of my Nice Nature runs after 6 or 7 tries while still figuring out proper builds for medium/long runners. I did a bullshit legacy setup where her Pace got set up to A, got poor stats that I didn't trust for her being in Late for the Make Debut race, set it to Pace as a backup. She got sixth and I was like "Well, fuck me, I guess." But by some miracle, she won that career race at the start of Classic Year where you first race against Teio and this game decided to give all the pluses after that to make up for that Make Debut. Got pretty significant rainbow speed procs and two good power ones during/after the first summer, got the hot spring tickets for the raffle, it gave every gimme possible to not make this run dead. I may have used one clock, but that was it. Here a pic of the stats and me starting to get a small feel of card supports. I guess I don't hate the 2-speed spark, but for whatever this run was from over a week ago, I'll take it.
TL;DR, I'd hold for a pivotal career race that you get first in if its goal is like "Get top 3 or 5" and if you can make it there, see what the raffle holds in store.
