For was not her tale the stuff of which legends are made? With certain careful omissions, this could be a story of an angel of the Emperor's wrath, triumphing alone against hopeless odds! And though Salafié's sins were black indeed, the memory is short, and can be shortened further with proper application of coin. In short, what was needed was a campaign of propaganda and bribery on a scale unheard of.
