No Denji didn't try to kill her you retards. He smashed the chair on the ground to scare her. No, Asa did not try to evade. Her foot is still on the ground which means Denji deliberately smashed it against the ground in front of her.

He remained calm afterwards and cheered Asa up. Asa was acting irrational and stupid in that moment.

As a reminder:
all these comments portraying Denji as "scumji" while simultaneously portaying Asa as a flawless angel because she is much closer to Denji in morality than people give her credit for.
Asa isn't a saint, she did several VERY questionable things, especially during Church and Prison, I think people just got blindsighted by the whole Denj & Nayuta situation.

Reminder that Asa wasn't too bothered by Denji eating raw guts from people in Aging, she even offered him some sauce to go along with it, Asa is low key unhinged and I'm 80% sure that she will do something unbelievably fucked up and bizarre in the finale matching Denji's cannibalism of Makima.

Another reminder: Yoshida absolutely 100% definitively was going to kill Asa. He cut her arm which would've lead to blood loss and he was close to slicing her skull in half but was saved the last second thanks to a powerup.
