Because you have crazed fans, like me.
The series I think hits a special nerve of escapism for a lot of anons. Personally I was going through a very low point when I found it two years ago and was that pillar to help me cope and weather the mental state I was in. I know a lot of anons may self insert, which is a major faction, but I personally did not. It was more watching two friends in love, being happy for them and wishing a similar relationship for me. There is an idealism in the story which is the escapism from an otherwise messy world of heart break and a million sloots who arent dateable. Ive read other romcoms and they just don't hit the same. Maybe its something about tan cardio bunnies or the humor or the realism of a shy kid dealing with these social interactions of a girl interested in him. I think the early story hit well too where there is this real cast of friends and the school and interactions feel genuine. The latter part of the story struggled but nobody is perfect and I feel most story flounder sooner than Naga did.
