I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that it might have been a local dialect slang for you, but it has no hits on the internet before that point so unless you can provide any evidence to the contrary, it doesn't seem to have been in regular use, or at least not relevant enough to have been recorded.
this is consistent with google trends where it has small spikes between 2016-2021, but doesn't become a regular search term until 2023.
