There's a certain powerful and sentimental nostalgia one gets seeing characters from past campaigns brought to life, once mere figments in the mind given visual form by such awesome technology. It's easy to get lost in the mire of these threads and behave cynically, but those of us who have created stories in adventures shared with friends at the table should not lose sight of the magic that brought us all here to begin with. What I've posted here may not resonate with everybody, but I hope we can all find a way to appreciate what these generators provide for our creativity. Thanks for indulging me.
